If you want to save space in an Excel worksheet, you can autofit a column so that more data can be displayed on your screen, as well as more space for the rest of your worksheet, while the data in the shrunk column remains visible.
AutoFit
Click on the letter of the column you want to use AutoFit on.
Then, under Home > Cells, click on Format, then, select AutoFit Column Width.
Now, the column width has automatically been adjusted to fit just the text within.
